**Field Controls Engineer**Koops Automation of Mexico is looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our team. The Field Service Engineer is responsible for providing onsite service and support to customers. Acts as mobile on assigned open tickets to resolve customer affecting technical issues in a timely fashion in order to maintain maximum customer satisfaction. This relates all technology, to include workstations, robotics and robotic cells, networks, and vendor specific hardware and software. This position will be based out of our Irapuato office and is responsible for providing on-site client installation, repairs, and maintenance of their equipment.**Responsibilities**:- **Support the client** - Oversee all network services and perform tests on equipment and circuits. Troubleshoot issues and resolve any requests or concerns that come up in a timely manner. Perform tests to ensure systems are error-free. Maintain relationships with customers and follow company guidelines.- **Equipment and service** - Troubleshoot each problem and guide customers on how to properly use equipment. Create reports of customer service calls. Make suggestions for equipment upgrades while maintaining the current inventory, including vans and trucks.- **Controls Engineering **- Be able to successfully build and edit PLC programs and logic in Ladder Diagram (LD), Sequential Function Charts (SFC), Function Block Diagram (FBD), Structured Text (ST) Instruction List (IL) in manufacturing production environments to meet customer's requirements.**Requirements**:- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience- 3 to 5 years of Controls Engineer and/or Factory Automation Equipment related experience- ** Must have PLC Programmable Controllers experience, preferably Allen-Bradley and Siemens.**:- Ability to build strong relationships with the customer and display excellent communication skills with expertise in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and solving complex problems involving mechanical and/or control logic/programming related issues.- Willingness to travel away from the office up to 70% of the time, including up to 35% extended or long-distance travel requiring nights spent away from home.- Ability and willingness to travel on short notice- Ability and willingness to travel internationally- Personal flexibility and acceptance of frequent and/or short notice schedule or priority changes driven by unexpected customer needs that may arise- Problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude- Cognitive and motor skills are imperative- English: intermediate - advanced- Travel 50% to 70%BDHrvhqqGl
