.DOCUMENT NUMBER: D001217226 TITLE: OPS.FLDENG.PROF.I POSITION TITLE: Field Engineer I POSITION CATEGORY: Geozone Operations REPORTS TO (JOB TITLE): DUAL REPORT Job Purpose The Field Engineer's role applies standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform tasks or jobs for a variety of products and services. Entry and intermediate level roles will receive direct supervision. Senior roles will provide direction to junior engineers and troubleshoot complex technical issues. Intermediate and Senior positions act as the key interface with clients at the well site. Roles & Responsibilities SAFETY, SECURITY & COMPLIANCE Maintains the highest standards of corporate governance, ensuring compliance with Company policies and relevant laws. Places Quality, Health & Safety, Security, and environmental protection as core values. Seeks continual improvement in Health, Safety, Security & environmental protection. Supervisors & Managers should demonstrate effective safety leadership. QUALITY Familiar with the Company's Quality policies and actively participate in compliance and improvement. Maintains service quality as a priority and seeks areas for improvement. OPERATIONS Participates in daily operations & safety meetings and reports issues promptly. Maintains equipment, facilities, and work areas in safe conditions. Monitors and analyzes data to recommend services and solutions. Performs job planning, preparation of tools & equipment, and submits job-related data. Available on 24 hours call basis to respond to customer needs. Tests, operates & maintains tools & equipment according to policies & procedures. Develops and maintains a positive relationship with clients. Fully responsible for delivering superior Service Quality to the client. Effectively manage inventory and supplies required at the well site. Follows up failures with the R&M team and ensures failure reports are closed. Contributes to equipment failure investigations. Where applicable, oversees and mentors Field Operation crew members. Senior roles may act as technical advisors and interpret data for clients. Senior level Field Specialist will manage the installation of complex equipment. Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor. COMMUNICATION Maintains effective communications with all key stakeholders. Supervisors & Managers should clearly communicate expectations to their reports. FINANCIAL All employees are accountable for being financially responsible. Costs incurred should be processed within agreed time frames. PEOPLE & DEVELOPMENT Employees are responsible for developing their own careers. Regular engagement with line managers to discuss performance and objectives. Supervisors are expected to support talent management.
