- Forming part of SENSIA México Digital Automation Solutions and Services.
Field Support Engineers assist SENSIA customers with the installation, start-up, maintenance, and continuous improvement of industrial control and information solutions.
Field support Engineer will support technically in ICS Triplex, Allen Bradley, and Cameron Brands for the Oil & Gas Industry.- Will support in- Installation and commissioning, integration and commissioning of products, electrical power systems and control systems.
- Updates, upgrades and field modernization of products and systems
- Troubleshooting, diagnostic, and repair of products systems
- Implementation of comprehensive site maintenance programs
- SENSIA Products.
- ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- The primary focus for the Field Support Engineer is:
- Provide technical support and maintenance services in customer Facilities with high quality standards.
- Troubleshoot, diagnostic and repair SENSIA products and systems or third-party equipment interfaced to it.
- Implementation of comprehensive site maintenance programs.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair industrial networks.
- Analyze Application, load requirements, system restrains.
- Program, Configure, Commission, Allen-Bradley.
- Application experience of third-party systems integration.
- Maintenance, repair, calibration of Measurement system
- Emergency Shutdown Support
- On-Site technical Support
- Product and Customized Training
- Remote Support
- Troubleshooting power and control systems
- Knowledge Of Safety regulatory compliance
- Submittal of activities and expense reports related to the service activity.
- Use and comply with procedures to service SENSIA product.
- Comply with Safety Procedures.
- Proactively find and promote new service opportunities for customers that call us for service.
- EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Have an engineering degree on the following carriers:
- Electrical Engineering
- Electronic Engineering
- Electromechanical Engineering
- Robotics Engineers
- Control and Automation Engineering
- Mechatronic Engineers
- EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- 3 years of minimum experience on Field Service or Industrial Maintenance- Experience in power and control systems
- Programming experience, Allen-Bradley brand diagnostics
- Desirable experience in PLC´s, ControlLogix AB products
- Desirable Knowledge on AC and DC Drives.
- Analysis of Electrical Power Systems
- knowledge of Human Machine Interface (PanelView, FT View and others)
- Application experience of third-party systems integration.
- Knowledge in Industrial Control (Electrical and Instrumentation Diagrams)
- Demonstrate experience working with Pemex and another Oil & Gas companies.
- OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment where constructive feedback from others is encouraged.
- Must have excellent conflict resolution skills.
- Must be available and willing to work overtime, weekends and holidays to meet customer project commitments.
- Must perform duties in the office as part of a project team.
- Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites, including industrial plants, ships, onshore and offshore oil & Gas facilities.
Which may require climbing, working in confined spaces and other unusual work environments.
- English 80%
- Ability to travel 80% or more in national or international assignments.
- Sea Card required.
- Valid passport and VISA.
- Title and professional license.
