This position will require frequent short term travel to customer sites both planned and occasionally on short notice.The services department is a local based team of field engineers providing technical advisory services onsite and remotely to the cement industry throughout Mexico.
This multidisciplined team is comprised of engineers of all backgrounds including, mechanical, electrical, and automation with years of in-field experience at operating cement plants.
The group mission is to provide sustainability and productivity solutions, through expert technical guidance and training across the entire cement flow sheet; supporting FLSmidth's key customers, from installation, through commissioning, maintenance and optimization.
**Responsibilities**:Developing accurate operation to customers on Pfister FLSmidth dosing equipment.Carry out several Mechanical and control audits at the existing dosing system examining current operations, material variables and provide recommendations for improvements on accurate weighing and dosing system.
Sales support to generate dosing and weighing solutions and participate in customer meetings to carry out technical discussions and provide clarifications.Perform control, mechanical and accuracy troubleshooting of the relevant equipment and provide correct diagnostic assessments.
Technical support during the Pfister equipment maintenance, support the calibration task, solve communication, and control issues in Pfister system.
Resolves/troubleshoots implementation problems and/or train customers on the features of the equipment Interface with a wide selection of company and customer personnel.
Build on the FLSmidth customer relationship.Identify opportunities to increase sales of service programs and spare parts orders; provide technical support for equipment order proposals.
Researches, evaluates, and recommends new products or equipment upgrades that will meet customer needsRELATED EXPERIENCE / SKILLSExperience in Weighing, feeding and dosing systems, control, commissioning, installation accuracy optimization.Knowledge of VSD control in dosing equipment and instrumentation related.Possess Strong understanding of the cement process and effectively integrating these objects with other resources and action items to meet deliveries
