.Field Service Mechanical Engineer TCP (Reciprocante and Centrifugal Compressors)About the RoleLocation: MexicoCompany: Gas ServicesBusiness Unit: Service Latin AmericaEmployment Type: Full-timeExperience Level: Experienced ProfessionalA Snapshot of Your DayResponsible for ensuring all aspects of field maintenance, trouble-shooting and re-commissioning Compressors and Gas Turbines, are planned and driven in a manner advantageous to Siemens and the client.How You'll Make an ImpactSingle point and primary contact for customer for maintenance of gas turbines and Compressors, for specific projects.Planning service projects internally including workforce, tooling, and materials.Work closely with the Siemens project team from planning to completion.Supervise Siemens personnel and subcontractors at site.Coordinate with Siemens entities to resolve issues, identify warranty issues, etc.Ensures new equipment installation and commissioning management process is followed.Assist / provide direction to field people as needed.Communicate progress / problems to the client and Siemens project team on a regular basis.Represent Siemens interests at site with authority to negotiate within defined range.Maintain project, site, records of services activities, inventories, checklists, etc.Elaborate daily reports and Final Report, during a services project.What You BringMust possess a personality that gives a client a feeling of trust and comfort, very professional attitude.Knowledge and understanding of other cultures.Realizes extent of authority and limitations vital to optimally complete projects.Able to make decisions and function in remote areas with minimum guidance.Must be flexible and able to adapt to a constantly evolving work environment.University Degree or equivalent experience in (Aeronautic, Mechanic, Mecatrónica, Industrial Engineer or similar).Professional Experience (1+ years) in (Mechanics Activities/Program activities, etc).English at professional working proficiency level.Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 80% of time.Who is Siemens Energy?At Siemens Energy, we are more than just an energy technology company.
