Career Area:Manufacturing & Supply Chain**Job Description**:Understands and complies with Solar and customer HSSE policies and procedures. Ensurethe work permit system is complied with. Ensure safe site and practices. Participates byattending or conducting general safety and toolbox safety meetings and completing allrequired safety training including training courses. Suggests safety improvements.Act as company representative on accident investigations.- Ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded. Ensure all maintenance andcommissioning activities are carried out in accordance with Solar Engineering specifications,recommendations and best practices. Provide feedback on problems encountered and howthey were resolved.- Will be aware of procedures for identifying sources of information and technical advice butwill be capable of independent reasoning and judgment. Maintain sufficient up-to-dateproduct knowledge to allow repair and adjustment of mechanical, electrical, electronic andcontrol components/process systems. Be capable of reading and using applicable drawings,ladder logic diagrams and technical manuals. Liaise with OEM's and outside resources onresolving problems.- Must be able to proactively recognize electrical/mechanical abnormalities, and potentialsafety problems and take appropriate action to prevent a serious safety hazard fromdeveloping and causing damage to equipment. Maintain sufficient records to allowreasonable technical and financial choices to be made based on fact. Advise Solar andcustomers on issues related to warranty, logistics, engineering, project management, partsinventory, technical training and Maintenance Management systems.- Ensure accurate communications and reporting between immediate Solar management andcustomer representatives.
