We are recruiting a Sr. Service Mechatronics Engineer for our international client, global leader in the development, manufacturing and distribution of innovative cooling solutions.With more than 60 years of experience, our client offers a comprehensive range of products and systems that leverage cutting-edge technology, IoT connectivity and intelligent control software with a focus on industrial water systems for the plastics and food and beverage industry.The Sr. Service Mechatronics Engineer will report directly to the SS Manager for LATAM and the Service Manager North America, working in the field and assuring a relationship based on trust with clients, as well as increasing the presence and positioning of the company.MissionsPerform on-site troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repairs of chillers, temperature control systems, and related equipment.Collaborate with the technical support team to develop and implement effective solutions for complex issues.Utilize technical documentation, manuals, and schematics to assist in equipment repair and maintenance processes.Provide training and support to junior technicians and customers on proper equipment usage and maintenance.Keep accurate records of service visits, equipment repairs, and maintenance activities.Collaborate with the quality and engineering teams to provide feedback for product improvement and innovation.Stay up to date with the latest equipment and troubleshooting information.Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and reliability of the equipment.Communicate with customers in a professional manner, ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering or a related field.Proven track record of at least 5 years in a similar role, handling refrigeration and temperature control equipment troubleshooting and repair (chillers, cooling towers).Full knowledge of industrial refrigeration processes will be seen as a plus.Ability to read electrical / mechanical / plumbing drawings and logic manuals.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the capacity to handle complex technical challenges effectively.Ability to work independently and as part of a team, showing high levels of self-motivation and initiative.Availability and willingness to travel to various customer sites in Mexico when required (50-70% of the time).Proficient in reading and writing in English, with conversational English skills as a plus.Competencies and AbilitiesTechnical expertise in mechatronics, industrial engineering or related fields.Knowledge of the refrigeration industry, cooling and temperature control systems.Problem solving skills.Expertise in technical documentation.Teamwork and training.Customer service orientation.If you fit this profile, we would be pleased to receive your application to proceed with the recruitment process.Contact : Jorge Prats, Head of Advisory Mexico LATAM#J-18808-Ljbffr
