- Review documented changes with staff support engineers.
- Confirm process changes and develop planning timeline for incorporation.
- Lead CLL (Cycle Line Lay out) reviews with the Tooling and Facilities Engineer, Body Launch Leader, Product Specialist and MP&L Leader.
- Ensure CLL changes are aligned with current BOP (Build Of Process).
- Participate in virtual process reviews to:
- Provide feedback to the plant floor and the manufacturing team
- Verify the Bill of Material (B.O.M.)
and Bill of Process (B.O.P.)
- Identify and address high hurts early on
- Validate product / process compatibility, recording all discovered issues, communicate them to the launch team and lead their resolution.
- Resolve sequencing and process localization issues with staff, production leaders and the product specialist.
- Lead focused builds and validate the Allocations Planning Tool (APT) and eQPS with the product specialist.
- Responsible for delivering target HPU (Unit Hours) for the given schedule, stabilize and balance work content during pre-production builds.
- Lead workstation capacity at each stage of build to:
- Ensure stations are upgraded to the new process and enable a successful build.
- Evaluate capability against established metrics.
- Ensure balanced work at each workstation.
