.Job DescriptionJob Title: Finance Analyst – Finance Shared Service CentreResponsible for: Take ownership for end-to-end GL accounting process and complete Month-end & Year-end related activities for Americas.Responsible to: Finance Team Lead – AmericasShift Timing: 6.00 PM to 3 AM. This can be adjusted based on business requirement.Key Responsibilities:Candidate must have in-depth knowledge and experience in the fields of GL / RTR.Assure smooth and timely Month-end close and reporting for assigned entities.Prepare all cash related daily journal entries for Americas including Canada.Cash / Bank Reconciliations for all Americas/Canada.Account Analysis and reconciliation for accounts assigned by America's Accounting Manager.Preparing accruals, deferrals and ad hoc journal postings.Assist in research and account reviews.Provide accounting support for AP, AR Shared Services.Provide support for other projects as needed by America's Accounting Manager.Key Skills and Competences:Degree level accountancy study / Qualified accountant.Ability to manipulate and analyze large volumes of data, from multiple sources.Ability to present results of data analysis in meaningful and insightful ways.Advanced Excel user, e.G. manipulating data via use of pivots/lookups, sumifs, etc.Maintain accuracy and attention to detail.Drive for results - end to end ownership.Ready to multitask, prioritization and organizational time management abilities.Investigative problem-solving abilities.Outstanding customer service: both external and internal customers.Financial awareness & Methodical approach.Ensure compliance with Process SLA and KPIs for assigned entities.Must be able to analyze data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations with respect to accounting treatments.Ability to make independent decisions, self-starter and highly motivated.Good communication.
