Metso is seeking a motivated, technical Finance Intern to join our high-achieving Consumables team. This role will play a crucial part in performing and coordinating financial information and reports for the business area. This specific role will be based in Irapuato.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:Review and assure all costing at the site are accurate.This includes reviewing production orders, proper inventory valuation, and the tracking, analyzing, trending, and reporting of variances in manufacturing cost.Coordinate, prepare, and submit accurate internal and external financial reports (monthly, quarterly, and annually).Work with the local team to review and control expenses.Review and analyze all accounting transactions generated from the site.Maintain proper control over assets including inventory and work with department managers to ensure internal controls are established, documented, and maintained.Contribute to team effort to ensure overall goals and targets are achieved.WHO YOU ARE:Basic computer literacy in MS Office – Word and Excel.Ability to establish priorities.High oral and written communication skills.Ability to maintain organization in a changing environment.Competency in computer software including SAP and Microsoft Office, desirable.Ability to work efficiently while performing required tasks.Detail-oriented.What's in it for you?Extensive learning opportunities - ongoing growth dialogues, internal mobility, mentoring programs, education assistance, advanced projects, and global opportunities.Wellbeing and safety - benefit from occupational healthcare, mental well-being services, and engagement surveys.Worldwide support - leverage our network of peers across the world, offering valuable assistance.
