**Global commercial operations (GCO) **is part a of the Global Business Services and is the operating arm that supports AstraZeneca Global Marketing teams with quality, relevant and up to date **Commercial Content, **support marketing campaigns with** Digital Multi Channel Marketing capabilities, Digital Multi Channel Brand analytics and Global Meetings & Events.
**This helps in providing end to end content services across AZ, reducing time to market, consistency in Brand messaging and save cost.
**Global Meetings and Events** service is focused on creating an enterprise-wide approach to meetings management logistics for all non-field led HCP and internal meetings, to facilitate end-to-end management of key planning milestones, as well as oversight for execution, compliance, and financial processes.
To meet the objective, GME service team is to provide in-house delivery for registration websites, meeting apps, reporting, and the use of virtual cards.
The **Finance Reporting Analyst** is an intermediate level position responsible for managing the Virtual Card, Finance clearance & reconciliation; the generation, tracking and submission of financial reports in coordination with the Finance Team or Meeting Managers.
The overall objective of this role is to accurately prepare, audit & report business / financial transactions, generate reports and statements in accordance with local regulatory guidelines.
This role will also develop service performance reports and analysis that supports key decision-making and driving improvement for the GME service.
Reporting to the GME Operations Manager, this role has responsibility to manage the day-to-day Virtual Card, QA and reporting activities to ensure the service is delivering on the efficiency objectives.
The role will support services in the US, EMEA, APAC and global congresses team and then expand into optimizing the services.
Role and Responsibilities
- Strong knowledge in Finance Concepts and real-time experience
- Knowledge in Finance SAP FiFo, Blackline, PowerBI and MSSQL (T-SQL) is good to have.
- Establish reporting standards and maintain the data and reporting integrity is good to have.
- Maintain reporting schedule and document reporting procedures is good to have
- Configure standard system reports, as well as customized reports as required is good to have
- Analyze reports and trends and based on findings, prepare and communicate results and recommendations is good to have
- Facilitate the implementation of procedures and develop insights and reports is good to have
- Ensure accuracy of all reported data by continually reviewing and analyzing current sources, processes, and systems functions is good to have.
- Analyze relevant information from different sources including SAP, Concur, Cvent is good to have
- Analyze financial data and trends and create financial reports for decision support is ideal
- Prepare the Virtual card reconciliation file and post them into Blackline for the clearance is mandatory
- Prepare the monthly/quarterly Journal entries/ voucher and post them into SAP system is mandatory
- Assess, prioritize, and communicate future finance and reporting needs and strategies is good to have.
- Investigate and troubleshoot Finance and reporting issues and problems is good have
- Experience working in a globally distributed team

Essential Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- 1 to 3 years of experience in financial institution accounting practices and procedures.
- Experience in development using any reporting tool with ETL knowledge
- Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written English
- Strong customer service focus

Preferred
- Pharmaceutical experience; or other highly-regulated environment
- Experience with meeting industry technology (CVENT, StarCite)
- Meeting management and/or Travel industry experience
