Finance Specialist 1 - Accounting Operations

**Job Description Summary**: This role will be responsible of lead the closing, accounting, account reconciliations and daily operation for GEII Chile and other small countries from South America. This position will be also have in the scope the stat audit support, Gaap by legal requirements attendant (Deep Dive, CSA, adjustments, etc.)**Roles and Responsibilities**- Ensure to have proper treatment of the closing edit checks.- Coordinate activities with CoEs Cash, Intercompany, AP, AR etc. to clean up open items and ensure proper rhythm for the operation. Ensure smooth monthly closing and metrics achievement.- Lead analytics of CSA under scope and ensure proper track with Stat and Tax.- Conduct legal entity deep dive and analytics.- Support Stat audit execution and track deliveries in Deloitte connect for the LE under scope.- Support indirect and direct tax initiatives and analytics.- Execute monthly Stat to GAAP tie out- Support Sub regional Controllers in all deliverables- Coordinate Internal fiscal billing for re charges.**Required Qualifications**- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting related discipline from an accredited university or college.- CA or CPA; Minimum of 3 years combined experience in multinational industrial companies- Verbal and in writing communication in English- Proven technical accounting expertise in similar industrial businesses- Stat to Gaap accounting expertise- ERP previous experience (manage of modules, general accounting etc.)**Desired Characteristics**- Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.- Stat Local knowledge (Chile)- Previous experience in a Big4- Manage of Confirm/Icam or similar tools (management project)- SAP, Oracle CCL**.****Additional Information**:**Relocation Assistance Provided**:NoLI-Remote - This is a remote position
