The incumbent will:Act as the finance SPOC for the business and an advisor to the GBU country MDs and their teams, coordinating with the different finance functions as applicable.Support the GBUs in achieving its financial objectives by providing the analysis, insight and challenge into its decisions.With a strong focus on future performance, actively participate in the management dialog and facilitate interaction between different finance functions and the GBUs.Responsibilities and Job Functions:Act as the secondary arm of the CFO for all activities related to FG&R GBU and RGBU involving the different finance functions. Suggest and/or identify business opportunities and challenge and influence GBUs decisions and strategy.Lead the development of partnering relationships with the GBUs country MDs and their teams, and with stakeholders throughout ENGIE (Mexico, LATAM Region, and HQ).Ensure timely & qualitative reporting and a detailed understanding of the business.Propose restructures, resizing or cost efficiencies to improve the GBUs financial performance with no risk and/or business impact.Identify and anticipate potential risks that could affect the financial results of the GBUs.Ensure the proper control of the projects of the GBUs, ensuring compliance at financial, fiscal, legal, and regulatory level.Provide high-quality advice and support in influencing the GBUs' decisions.Deliver insights and monitor business risk and opportunities.Act as project manager of any finance/GBU joint project/priority involving different stakeholders.Supervise the adequate execution of the financial support functions, ensuring compliance with local processes and policies.Occupational Profile:BS in Public Accounting, Business Administration or Finance required
