.The Financial Analyst is key in supporting Driscoll's of the Americas (DOTA) business unit by delivering strategic financial analysis and reporting to the supply chain and finance teams.
This position is integral to the annual financial planning process, providing insights into financial and operational drivers that inform the annual budget.
Responsibilities include forecasting, monthly variance analysis, capital management, and report preparation, all essential for identifying business risks and opportunities.
The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive cost control through continuous process improvement and influencing decision-making across all leadership levels within the DOTA organization.
This position is part of the Finance team and reports directly to the Senior Finance Manager for Supply Chain.
**Responsibilities**:- Collaborate with the Finance Manager to support the annual financial planning process and periodic forecasts, managing a $1B cost roll-up across 100+ Distribution Centers and corporate cost centers.- Prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment to assess risks effectively and guide sound, timely business decisions.- Provide concrete financial insights to influence business decisions through clear and professional communication, including written reports, verbal discussions, and presentations.- Partner across multiple organizational functions to foster collaboration, build consensus, and drive cost control through continuous process improvements.- Prepare and communicate monthly financial results, including variance analysis and contributing to creating the monthly financial deck.- Develop, maintain, and enhance reporting templates for managerial use to improve visibility into financial and operational performance.- Create ad hoc templates, metrics, and analyses to highlight business risks, issues, and opportunities.- Analyze large datasets from multiple sources to identify trends and variances that impact operations and financial performance.- Oversee the tracking, reporting, and controlling capital requisitions and projects to ensure alignment with financial goals.- Support supply chain deliverables related to key company initiatives**Requirements**:- Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting- Requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, and planning.- Excel: Advanced- Bilingual- Experience in operations and finance.- Knowledge of accounting policies and standards- Hyperion reporting and Tableau is a plus- Proficient in technical skills with the ability to coordinate resources and drive projects to successful completion with a results-oriented approach.- Advanced analytical abilities, including managing multiple priorities, analyzing complex issues, and focusing on relevant information; adept at leveraging role-specific metrics.- Strong capability to collaborate effectively across functions within the organization
