Responsibilities Responsible to analyze cost information to define proper cost of products or services Coordinates the preparation of budgets, reviews budget proposals and prepares necessary supporting documentation and justification.
Prepare Analysis and explanation of budget variances Review profit and loss and balance sheet statements accounts to support operational efficiencies and budget achievement.
Month End Data and variances Review, Controls, tracks and reports capital and asset investment programs, including overseeing approvals, tracking actual to budget, meeting program targets and ensuring appropriate accounting treatment.
Cost Center and product line management Lead and monitor business initiatives for cost improvement/reduction Month end closings and trial balance submissions to headquarters, including data and variances review Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual Financial reporting packages to Senior Management Business Units hourly rate calculations and/or variances Ensure and improve internal controls based on Corporate Policy and Directives to keep clean internal and external audit reports Must be able to effectively communicate and interact with various levels of operating unit and headquarters personnel.
Ensure all policies & procedures are updated & documented as necessary and encouraging excellent customer service to ZF operating units and corporate finance.
Communicates and educates other departments on the cost center spending and variances, change management tracking and quoting.
Creates business cases and business models to provide a decision-making base for new business acquisition, support for offering programs / sales quoting to external customers.
Requirements Accounting or Finance Degree The ideal candidate with 2-4 years as Financial Analyst 85-95% Bilingual English/Spanish Strong analytical and problem solving High attention to detail A proactive approach with a dedication to teamwork Outstanding customer service, and continuous improvement are essential.
Excellent computer skills using MS Office.
Knowledge in SAP/QAD systems will be a plus.
MX and US GAAP knowledge.
Strong Experience with Internal Controls Procedures The successful candidate must have high legal and ethical standards.
