The mission of the Global Analytics and Insights organization is to provide business and functional partners with information to manage performance and support decision making, while driving operational excellence in the process.
The Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting various planning, forecasting, causaling and reporting processes and analysis for Intelligent Devices global business.
The role utilizes global consolidation financial systems Oracle EPM, SAP and Power BI to provide performance reporting and insight on a variety of key financial metrics, but mostly focused on commercial expenses and capital project spending.
The role engages with other finance teams and business partners to develop financial plans and forecasts and analyze actual performance against those goals.
The Analyst also works to automate processes and support simplification and standardization efforts.
**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain and enhance spend reporting in PowerBI including regional and business unit performance
- Be able to explain spending performance and key variances vs. forecast, annual plan and prior year
- Ensure the predictability of results by driving standard and effective quarterly forecasts for Intelligent Devices business
- Develop financial plans utilizing business partner input and leveraging standard tools and processes to enable clear explanations for financial performance in a particular business
- Support internal control activities as required
- Ownership of key financial metrics reporting
- Developing and advocating for automation, simplification, and standardization in reporting
- Create ad hoc analyses and respond to business inquiries to understand material drivers of financial performance
- Closely align with the other teams in the Global Analytics and Insights organization to drive improved and standardized global processes across different business.
**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience in FP&A / Forecasting / Controlling area.
- English: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have a working knowledge of MS Office, especially very good Excel skills.
- SAP experience.
- Ability to work effectively across time zones, businesses, and functions to resolve issues;
- Demonstrated ability to interpret financial results and develop key takeaways and insights;
- Process improvement focus and proactive mindset with an eagerness to learn the business;
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and projects with varying deadlines;
- Proven business partner - results oriented, resourceful, service driven professional;
- Work independently with mínimal supervision;
- Practical knowledge of Power BI will be an asset;

You will hybrid work in Monterrey, Mexico.
