Requisition ID: 32963- Job Location(s): Reynosa, MXDanfoss Reynosa FC is looking for a skilled **Financial Analyst. **In this position you will accomplishing a variety of accounting and project management tasks, including but not limited to processing and managing journal entries, review and analysis of actual financial information as it relates to monthly financial reviews and forecasts, accounts receivable, intercompany accounts payable, balance sheet account management, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and the development of processes and procedures to increase the efficiency and value of the Accounting department.
As **Financial Analyst**, you will join a team of highly skilled and committed colleagues working closely together and acting as sparring partners for each other.
**Responsibilities**:
Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
A. Support manufacturing operations by reviewing various aspects of plant operations, including, but not limited to manpower analysis, trend analysis, etc.
B. Analysis of capital projects and maintenance of Oracle fixed asset system.
C. Ensuring compliance with all SOX and Corporate Audit requirements.
D. Complete monthly and quarterly account reconciliations according to Danfoss financial policy.
E. Assist with the annual physical inventory and reconciliation.
F. Ensure on-time completion of monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting requirements.
G. Participate in month-end closing and forecast processes.
H. Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting procedures.
I. Assist with the annual profit planning process.
J. Support and/or participate on Continuous Improvement Activities such as: Kaizen, Ideas Programs, cost out and/or demonstrate improvements in goals year over year in our processes or practices aligned to achieve or business goals and/objectives.
**Background & Skills**:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Maquiladora in similar position.
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Familiar with Finance information Systems (Oracle, SAP, DFT, MFG-Pro)
- Personnel management experience
- Possesses Effective Communication Skills
