**_What Finance Operations contributes to Cardinal Health_**
Finance oversees the accounting, tax, financial plans and policies of the organization, establishes and maintains fiscal controls, prepares and interprets financial reports, oversees financial systems and safeguards the organization's assets.
- Responsible for keeping the US ledger reconciled in its balance accounts in the Blackline system as well as maintaining support documentation for it.
- Responsible for the monitoring and correct registration of intercompany transactions.
- Analysis and monitoring of inbound and outbond freight.
- Control of current operating expenses against budget and provide weekly comparisons.
- Reconciliation of expenses of sterilization costs against absorption and budget.
- Participation in the accounting closing of the month to guarantee the veracity of the accounting records in US accounting.
- Participation in the preparation of the annual budget.
- Manage, analyze, control capital projects as well as their corresponding expenses.
- Identification and control of fixed assets, as well as monitoring and recording the capitalization and accounting depreciation process.
- Control and verify expenditure requests for capital projects.
- Coordination of the physical inventory of fixed assets to ensure the existence and safeguard of them.
- Coordination and assurance of the payment of invoices in AP system and Pcard system according to corporate policies.
- Monitoring and assurance of collection of materials returned to suppliers.
- Communication with Sourcing department and with suppliers in relation to clarifications of discrepancies in billing and payment.
- Responsible for maintaining documented internal controls of the plant and ensuring compliance with them through selective tests in accordance with SOX.

Qualifications_**
- 2-4 years of experience
- BA, BS or equivalent experience in related field
