About the role As a member of the Financial Planning and Analysis Group, the Financial Analyst will be directly involved in providing critical reporting & analysis related to sales, product line margins, logistics, and other ad hoc requests. This position provides for business unit level experience with exposure to all functional areas of the organization.
Key Responsibilities: Sales Performance Measurement:Consolidate shipment and order data daily and update sales projection model. Assess validity of the model and deep dive into any major day-to-day changes.At month-end review data submissions from reporting groups to ensure quality of data and update database.Assist in preparing monthly sales reports for senior leadership team describing results to date.Gross Margin Analysis:Gather unit volume, revenue, and cost data from multiple sources. Update margin analysis report. Review reports to assess quality of information and to identify significant changes in trends & expectations. Calculate mix, pricing, and cost fluctuation impact on margin %.Logistics reporting:Gather raw data, assess quality of data, enrich data, and update freight database.Generate reports, review, and report significant findings.Report to key stakeholders (supply chain, finance, senior management) and prepare for SIOP review.Update tracking reports:Gather data, update databases, produce reports, identify any significant differences with expectations, and distribute reports.Frequency varies from weekly to monthly.Subject matter: product sales and costs, payroll components, collections from customers, foreign exchange (FX).Other activities:Improve efficiency of reporting processes. Look for opportunities to automate tasks.Understand key takeaways from financial analysis, effectively communicate underlying business drivers, and provide recommendations to senior management.Assist in quarterly forecasts, long range strategic plans, and annual plan processes.Address ad hoc requests.Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting3+ years experience of finance or accounting experienceAdvanced level of conversational EnglishAdvanced Excel levelExperience working with financial models and analysis softwareExperience in preparing financial reports and presentations.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.SAP S/4 Hana, SQL database and HFMOur commitment to you Our greatest assets are the expertise, creativity and passion of our employees.
