The Financial Coordinator is a pivotal role dedicated to ensuring the company's financial well-being and compliance with expense policies. This detail-oriented professional will actively monitor, in real-time, all incoming charges for adherence to expense policies, reporting and resolving exceptions, tracking and expediting expense report approvals, and collaborating with department managers to provide vital routine reporting on expenses.- Review all incoming charges in real-time to ensure they comply with the company's expense policy.- Identify and address discrepancies or violations of the expense policy.- Generate regular reports on "expense exceptions," which include expenses that deviate from the established policy.- Collaborate with relevant teams to resolve exceptions, provide explanations, and implement corrective actions as necessary.- Monitor and track the approval process of expense reports.- Coordinate with managers who are overdue in approving expense reports, ensuring timely approval to expedite reimbursement for employees.- Collaborate with department managers to compile and provide routine expense reports, offering insights into spend patterns.- Generate reports that categorize expenses by employee and compare actual expenses to budgets, identifying trends and deviations.- Conduct financial analysis to assess business performance, profitability, and potential risks.- Analyze key financial metrics and KPIs to drive actionable insights.**Skills/Requirements**- Bachelor's degree in finance or equivalent required.- Previous experience in expense management, financial analysis, or a similar role is preferred.- Demonstrable track record of working with and servicing internal stakeholders.- Strong Communication Skills.- Knowledge of financial accounting principles.- MS office suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook- Knowledge of excel functions and abilities.- Experience with enterprise reporting softwareNote: All offers are contingent upon successful completion of a background check- **Posted positions are not open to third party recruiters and unsolicited resume submissions will be considered free referrals.****AGS is an equal opportunity employee.
