We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Financial Reporting Analyst. The role holder will be responsible for processing, analyzing and validating financial and management data for liquidity reporting. Good knowledge of Asset Liability Management (ALM), regulatory reporting, and relevant changes in a global environment would be an added advantage.
Main activities: The role is responsible for timely submission of accurate and GL-reconciled liquidity and funding reporting to key stakeholders and regulators.Communicate to reviewers the analysis and observations of anomalies on liquidity reporting before submitting to stakeholders.Support management in providing initial analysis of variances and drivers primarily to Partnering & Insight, Modelling, and Governance & Control.Respond to regular and ad hoc data and report requests from key finance and non-finance customers.Ensure all work undertaken complies with HSBC policies, procedures, and work practices.Complete other responsibilities as assigned.Work effectively in a collaborative team environment with change teams, and other finance and risk management professionals.Willing to challenge the status quo and be proactive and innovative in driving change.Advanced English | 1 - 3 years of experience.Good understanding of Macros in VBA (Excel).Programming Languages (Python, SAS, or SQL).Academic background in Actuary, Economy, or Finance.You'll achieve more when you join HSBC.
