Financial Reporting and Management Associate, International PE RE Fund, Miami orMexico City
**About our client**
Our client is a private equity real estate fund that seeks a Financial Reporting and Management Associate. You will play a crucial role in supporting the strategic leadership team by elaborating financial models, managing budgets, and analyzing performance of the different operations and funds. As Financial Reporting and Management Associate, you will collaborate closely with the Head of Investments and Finance on important operational and strategic initiatives concerning the firm's expansion and success. This position can be based in Miami, US or Mexico City, Mexico **What the job involves**
- Create, oversee, and evaluate the yearly budget, quarterly predictions, and future financial plans for the business units
- Develop financial models to assess the financial performance of operating units and suggest ways to enhance performance
- Manage the creation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, analyzing variances, key performance indicators (KPIs), and financial statements
- Implement and manage dashboards for senior executives, highlighting financial results, threats, and possibilities
- Supervise cash flow and liquidity requirements in collaboration with the treasury and accounting department
- Assist in the elaboration of presentations and materials for meetings / committees with senior management and lenders
- Perform financial analysis to back up crucial business projects, investment opportunities, and operational improvements
- Ensure the financial reporting complies with the standards and internal controls
- Participate in creating and executing accounting systems and procedures to simplify operations
**Who we are looking for**
- Experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting, preferably within a private equity and/or family office specialized in real estate or investment banking
- Bachelor's degree in finance, engineering, business management, or a related field (master's degree or post graduate studies preferred)
- Solid skills in financial modeling
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Team-oriented with a proactive, positive attitude and a keen attention to detail
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is a MUST
- Ability to travel between the US and Mexico
