**Role purpose**:
The main objective of the position is to prepare the accounting closing process of Grupo Financiero HSBC entities on a monthly basis to allow the generation of financial information for local Regulators and Group.
It is preferred to have technical knowledge of local and international accounting.
Good analytical capacity.
Preferable knowledge of the accounting process of a bank.
Good communication skills (including english) to allow working with many teams (including teams in India).
**Principal Accountabilities and Responsibilities**:
Prepare the accounting closing process of Grupo Financiero HSBC entities on a monthly basis to allow the generation of financial information for local Regulators and Group working with India team including review of accounting journals.
Support with intercompany billing process, fixed assets inventory, monthly certification/substantiation of balances and local regulatory reporting delivery to regulators.
Review variance analysis provided on reported figures with team in India.
Supporting external and internal audit requirements and regulators requests including yearly audits.
**Leadership and Teamwork**:
Communication with teams in India supporting month end close.
Engaging with tax team as applicable in order to close the books, including fixed assets inventory.
Requirements
**Experience**:
Knowledge of accounting standards applicable in Group and Mexico.
Working experience (3-5years).
English (intermediate/advanced).
Graduate in Accounting/Economics or similar.
Broad and comprehensive understanding of concepts and principles within one discipline.
