.POSITION SUMMARYSensei Fitness Instructors are responsible for conducting physical evaluations, creating customized programs for Sensei guests, and leading individual and group classes and lectures while providing a high caliber of service.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:Offer the highest caliber coaching and guidance to guests in private and group sessions, including class preparation and breakdown.Conduct Personal Evaluation and Training sessions, including:Resting Metabolic TestingCardio Metabolic TestingStrength, Flexibility and Agility TestingGeneral Fitness Maintenance ProgramSpecialized Fitness Programming for a range of clients including those needing rehabilitation and high-performance athletes.Continuously stay current on scientific exercise research and trends.Evaluate program effectiveness, utilizing guest feedback, and suggest updates to programming based on that feedback.Have an evidence-led approach to your classes and lectures.Remain proficient in computer operating software systems and reporting required by your position.Record guest progress as applicable and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams.Maintain complete confidentiality in all guest/program matters in accordance with company policies.Lead Guest Hikes.Lead wellness classes as they pertain to specific areas of expertise.Leadership – Maintain a positive, upbeat role, promote and exemplify Company values and represent departmental objectives and interests to internal and external customers.Customer Service – Follow up on complaints, questions, and concerns; respond to internal/external customer needs in a friendly, timely and efficient manner.Teamwork - Develop and promote teamwork and cooperation among co-workers.Safety – Comply with established safe work practices and attend to all safety-related training provided or made available by the Company.Due to the intimate nature of the resort with a limited number of guests on property, assist teams laterally across all departments to lead a seamless guest flow throughout the different resort spaces.Other duties as assigned.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
