About HireRight:Overview: The main responsibility of the Fixed Asset Accountant will be the global month end close processes, including analysis and reconciliation for the fixed asset function. The Fixed Asset Accountant will also contribute to process improvements and other duties as assigned.**Responsibilities**:- Identify operational efficiencies including automation of departmental procedures and documentation of accounting processes.- Review items placed into Fixed Asset Clearing account on a monthly basis to code to proper Fixed Asset Category and post depreciation entries.- For any items that remain in the Fixed Asset Clearing account (i.E., Leasehold Improvements not yet ready to be placed into service), follow up in subsequent months with the appropriate personnel to determine when the asset is ready to be placed into service.- Perform global balance sheet reconciliations over Fixed Asset Accounts.- Provide all required fixed asset support to external auditors and respond to inquiries, as needed.- Prepare footnote disclosures for areas of responsibility.- Lead Fixed Asset walkthroughs and internal control test-work for external and internal auditors.- Add software capitalization assets to the fixed asset module.- Conduct fixed asset inventory process and execute cross-functional inquiries to ensure responses are received for inventory inquiries.- Bolster documentation process to include clear tagging for additions to allow for identification for future inventory purposes.Qualifications: **Knowledge & Skill**:- Has developed knowledge of a body of technical, support or administrative policies and procedures.- Accomplished in implementing practical procedures or systems, which are moderately complex and require extended skill.- Basic understanding of GAAP and Accounting Principles.**Experience**:- 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience.- Previous Fixed Asset experience preferred.- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook.**Education**:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent.What do we offer:**Please submit resume/CV in English.****HireRight does not accept unsolicited resumes through or from search firms or staffing agencies.
