**Responsibilities**:
- Will control and monitor construction in process of capital-Fixed Asset projects.
- Reconcile the balances of the projects at the Sub AR level during the month.
- Capitalization of projects in coordination with the originators of the projects and Corporate.
- Review of requisitions for purchase orders for capital projects (Assigning location, account and cost center as applicable).
- Approval of purchase orders for capital projects.
- Work with annual capital projects budget.
- Capital plan forecast (Reported to corporate).
- Address both internal and external corporate requirements in relation to capital projects and fixed assets.
- Keep track of the physical inventory of fixed assets. Coordinate a physical inventory at least every 2 years.
- Month Closing (Subledger vs. General Ledger Reconciliation). Registration of accounting policies.
- Address Audit requirements related to Fixed Assets
- Support with extraordinary tasks when required.
**Requirements**:
- Public Accountant or similar.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position
- Advanced Excel (pivots, blookups, grouping, subtotals, etc.)
- Knowledge of the most recent tax requirements regarding tax depreciation and treatment of fixed assets.
- Action Oriented
- Able to work under stress
- Basic English (50%)
- Oracle expert is a plus.
