Fixed Assets Sr Specialist (Temporary) TEMPORARY 2 Years We are seeking a Fixed Assets Sr. Specialist with strong expertise in technical accounting and internal controls to manage CAPEX capitalization, asset disposals, and IFRS 16 – NIF D-5 contracts. This role will focus on ensuring compliance with audit requirements, streamlining processes, and supporting month-end activities in a high-volume corporate environment.
Responsibilities: Ensuring all CAPEX Projects ready to be capitalized are booked and created the asset into the system. Ensuring the correct booked for all Fixed Assets Disposal. Responsible for the IFRS16 – NIF D-5, contracts for NMX, ensuring the correct booked with the interest, payment, depreciation, reclassification. Ensuring J-SOX processes and internal/external audit requirements are being followed within the FA team. Assisting with developing, recommending, and implementing improvements to current processes to ensure ongoing compliance with company policies/procedures and local taxes regulations. Assisting Fixed Asset Manager in streamlining the FA processes to create efficiencies in process. Active support on improvement projects from the area, testing and data analysis. Active participation in the month-end process, ensuring the correct booked for the monthly depreciation. Ensure timely delivery of requirements from different areas. Ensuring effective communication with all relevant stakeholders to maximize customer satisfaction. Minimum Requirements Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Engineering, or related.
Experience: Must have +3 – 5 years of experience in Fixed Assets, Accounting or related role. Technical accounting and internal controls knowledge and experience. Nice to have: Knowledge of US GAAP. Language: English: Intermediate written and spoken communication.
