As a FIRST LOT CONTROL AND NEW PRODUCTS PERFORMANCE COORDINATOR, you will ensure the performance of our products produced & delivered by PPG San Juan del Rio plant to the different customers.
You will report to the Quality Manager.
**Key Responsibilities**
- You will to ensure the efficient performance of First Lot Galon and the correct migration to Fist Lot Control.
- Avoid claims and customer charges for issues related to color performance.
- Ensure the correct criteria for color evaluation between plant and customer line.
- Standardize the color evaluation process at the customer line.
- Research and adaptation of technological improvements related to color evaluation and control.
- Visit frequently customer lines to document performance of new products and products which their formulas were modified.
**Qualifications**
- Chemical Engineer, Mechatronic Engineer or or equivalent experience.
- Fluente English.
- Experience: 5 years minimum in the Automotive and Chemical Industry (Desirable: experience in trouble-shooting in the customer line).
- Knowledge on different paint technologies (water-borne, solvent-borne, compact process, on different types of paint applicators.
- Color theory, formulation fundamentals, use of different spectrophotometers.
Interpretation and reading of color.
