Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Fleet Manager to lead our equipment maintenance and warehousing operations. As the Fleet Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring that all equipment, from cranes to supporting gear, remains in exceptional condition. Your strategic approach to preventive and predictive maintenance will directly impact our organizational success.
Responsibilities: Maintenance Strategy Implementation:
Develop and implement the Group-wide maintenance strategy, aligning with organizational goals.
Ensure adherence to Fleet Maintenance policies and mindset throughout the organization.
Equipment Condition Management:
Maintain equipment in optimal operating condition, both technically and aesthetically.
Prioritize safety and ensure full deployability of equipment at all times.
Preventive Maintenance:
Establish and enforce preventive maintenance practices according to Sarens' standards.
Certify all equipment in compliance with country-specific legislation.
Safety and Compliance:
Uphold SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) standards for all maintenance-related activities.
Monitor legal compliance related to equipment maintenance.
Equipment Monitoring and Reporting:
Control, monitor, and inspect equipment regularly.
Report damages promptly to the SHEQ Manager and Regional Fleet Manager.
Data Management:
Maintain accurate systems, data, and documentation related to maintenance activities (including ERP Maintenance databases).
Team Development:
Coach, train, and develop a competent maintenance team.
Handle recruitment and dismissal processes as needed.
PROFILE Experience: Experience of 5 years on Maintenance of Equipment in a heavy equipment service-oriented environment
on a relevant level
Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
Technical Knowledge: In depth knowledge of heavy lifting equipment, industrial equipment assembly and mechanical work. Fluent in English and Spanish
Safety Conscious: Prioritize safety protocols and compliance.
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Problem-Solving: Quick thinking and ability to address operational challenges.
Economic Acumen: Understand the impact of your role on organizational results (revenues, return on assets, working capital). P&L responsibility for his department
