FLEET MANAGER (Trucking) Location: Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico
Salary Range ($MXN): $30,000 – $40,000 MXN per month

Job Summary: Manage a driver/equipment group for international shipments. Continually keep units moving under acceptable payload with minimal deadhead and delay. Ensure that all customer service criteria are met. Supervise the productivity of our equipment in international lanes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Receive and solicit loads from shippers for all international/cross-border shipments, supporting multiple business units. Work closely with fellow Fleet Managers and Central Dispatch teams to coordinate and optimize capacity planning. In cooperation with Terminal Manager, manage a driver group: Plan, schedule and assign loads, equipment, drivers. Assure compliance with international, state, federal, and company regulations. Dispatch to optimize utility of drivers, equipment, and shops for in-house services. Monitor equipment maintenance requirements, assure completion. Upon receipt of documentation from Terminal Manager, schedule drivers' vacation/time off. Develop, manage, and grow relationships with a core base of international carrier partners, as well as tank wash and maintenance vendors. Improve productivity and customer service for cross-border shipments to increase revenue and reduce cost. Manage and promote the Risk Management functions for assigned driver group. Maintain appropriate dispatch records, including but not limited to: Daily Dispatch Sheet. Weekly Follow Along Sheet. Required tracking for loading at plant locations as well as rail sites. Work closely and in the spirit of cooperation with other terminal departments. Always represent the Company in a professional manner. Other duties as required and assigned. Maintain regular on-site attendance as scheduled. Education, Skills & Knowledge Required: Bilingual: English and Spanish required. College degree in Transportation and Logistics, or minimum 2 years' experience in truck transportation. Ability to travel domestically and internationally, up to 10%. Must hold a valid, legally issued passport. Previous supervisory experience is recommended. Knowledge of Safety, Claims, Wash Bay, Maintenance, Billing and Accounts Payable, Rates, Contracts, Customer Service, Sales, and Driver Recruiting and Retention. Present neat, clean, professional appearance of self and equipment, and use proper business etiquette. Capacity to accept additional responsibilities and develop operations knowledge enabling promotion and possible relocation. Strong knowledge of geography of contiguous United States, Mexico, and Canada.
