** Airline experience is mandatory ***Job SummaryOversee the total cost of ground support equipment (GSE) through audits, cost control, monitoring, and follow-up for effective management of ground support equipment for LATAM & Caribbean.Your activities:Contribute to the development of the company's region maintenance strategy and establish budgets, plans, policies, systems, and procedures to achieve strategic objectives.Establish goals in areas such as fleet management, reliability, purchasing processes, and service standards and monitor their performance.Supervise the regional budget; monitor the cost and effectiveness of activities to optimize resources and prioritize expenses.Monitor time lost due to equipment malfunction.Identify, research, and prepare recommendations on significant changes required to resources, procedures, systems, equipment, or technology to optimize equipment deployment.Implement and support the MRO tool for all maintenance bases in the company.Coordinate and communicate the strategy to the LATAM & Caribbean countries controllers and support field operations for its implementation.Maintain effective communication with relevant departments to ensure that maintenance activities meet established goals and standards.Manage the SLO for GSE fleet management in cooperation with local management.Lead, develop, and encourage your team to achieve the objectives and goals established for the region.Act in accordance with applicable laws and Swissport SOPs and policies.Perform other related activities as requested.Requirements:Completed Higher Education in Engineering or related field.Postgraduate degree (desirable).Advanced English.Your Profile:CommunicationTeamworkLeadershipNegotiation skillsCommitment to resultsEmotional balanceFocus on proceduresFocus on strategic planningExcellence and executionCustomer FocusAt Swissport, we believe in diversity, equal opportunity, and the power of our values to drive our success.
