.The Role:We are seeking a FLNG Marine Manager to be based in the company's Tampico office, overseeing maritime assets for NFE's Altamira Fast LNG Facility. We are looking for a motivated, highly experienced individual with shared beliefs and passion to come and help drive the journey.As the Marine Manager you are NFE's local marine representative that monitors and supports marine and offshore activities. You will work with vessel and Jackup crews to achieve safe and reliable operations.ResponsibilitiesWhat You Will Do:Embrace and facilitate a safety culture that results in Zero harm to people, the environment, the facility and the Company's reputation.Ensure an efficient, coordinated operation of all marine assets for the FLNG Facility.Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Security and Environmental (HSSE) Policies.Ensure compliance with applicable local and Flag State regulations and permits.Supervise third party vessel managers to optimize vessel availability while protecting asset value.Manage NFE owned FLNG vessels to optimize vessel operations while facilitating asset integrity.Attend vessels on regular basis to assure compliance and to verify vessel safety management, maintenance, and asset preservation.Participate in audits and reviews of Marine Operations and Cargo Transfer Procedures.Report on Safety & Security issues in the maritime domain with potential to impact personnel, environment, and operations.Participate in emergency prevention and preparedness inclusive of facility specific emergency response training.Oversee the transloading and safe receipt of LNG onto the Floating Storage Unit.Review of LNG Tankers compatibility studies and provide acceptance for berthing based on vetting and assurance requirements.Coordinate LNG Tanker calls, tug operations and Pilot activities.Monitor the Berthing, Mooring and Un-berthing of LNG Tankers.Oversee Ship-to-Ship (STS) operations, participate in Pre-load meetings, safety inspections and witness LNG gauging and sampling onboard.Represent NFE in a professional manner towards local authorities and communities.Perform all other duties assigned by direct and functional supervisors.QualificationsWhat You Bring:Bachelor's degree in marine field, Maritime Academy graduate preferred. Industry experience and level of maritime service may be considered as equivalent.Licensed Unlimited Master, Chief Mate, or Chief Engineer preferred.Tanker experience required; LNG Tanker experience preferred.Minimum of 8 years of experience with at least 3 in a senior leadership role.Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office products required.Knowledge and understanding of Class societies, international regulations, and protocols relating to company vessels required.Written and verbal communications in Spanish and English at all organizational levels in a clear and concise manner
