Eaton's IS VEH EMB division is currently seeking a Focus Factory Manager.
**What you'll do**:
**Primary Function**:
Manufacturing management control, involved on scheduling, planning and strategies to improve resources and maximize efficiency. Establish overall of the manufacturing shop floor at the Tijuana facility. Problem solver and drive for results. The position drives continuous improvement in production, quality, and safety while utilizing the framework of the Eaton Business System (EBS) and the Continuous Improvement Framework (CIF).
**Essential Functions**:
1 Broad responsibilities and leadership of a multi-disciplined, cross-functional team with overall accountability for performance of business.
2 Direct operations, management of budgets, manning, capacity planning, equipment utilization and scheduling with the plant
3 Plan and coordinate manufacturing departments and support groups to effectively meet customer requirements and plant's financial goals.
4 Provide leadership to the teams to meet or exceed the operational objectives of shipments, on-time delivery, past dues, productivity scrap/rework, and overtime utilization.
5 Lead cultural change of production work force that embodies the Eaton philosophy and automotive mindset.
6 Own the lean manufacturing concepts deployment on manufacturing systems, capabilities, production status, and forecast demands.
7 Drives the Zero accidents, TRCR /CDC
8 Zero defects mentality among the production teams, promoting IATF standars
9 Demonstrate leadership style according to the Eaton Leadership Model
10 Owns the production floors' 5Ss and the overall cleanliness and organization of all the areas
11 Drives the development of basic analytical problem solving and decision making processes at the lowest level (operators) of his organization.
12 Monitor and address employee actions or behavior to ensure adherence with required policies, procedures, systems, and rules.
**Qualifications**:
Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Electronics or Mechanics (or similar)
Master Degree in Administration or Finance (preferred
5-10 years in a similar position in electronic manufacturing environment.
Basic experience on project management, NPI and/or product line transfers (preferred)
Strong knowledge of ERP systems.
Strong English communication skills.
PNL and basic financials concepts knowledge
