Four-Wheel Drive Loader Structures Design Engineer Deere & Company is seeking a Design for Diagnostics System Engineer in Cary, NC with the following requirements:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related field plus 8 years related experience.Prior related experience must include:Design and develop time critical embedded applications using C, C++, Matlab, and Simulink and manage the software life cycle using tools SVN, Clearcase or GIT for vehicles such as commercial airplanes and off-road vehicles (8 years exp).Requirements and interface management using a structured system engineering tool (5 years exp).Design and develop UDS diagnostics including diagnostic trouble codes for electrical system, diagnostics identifiers and routines for multiple off-road vehicle variants (2 years exp).Perform Root Cause Analysis on the control unit failures from the physical real time system in production and categorize the failures (6 years exp).Design and develop embedded diagnostics with customer facing repair and troubleshooting text authoring (4 years exp).Analyze data sources such as machine parts and their failure history from aftermarket warranty claims, regulatory requirements and internal engineering data to design and author diagnostics that save repair time and enhance customer experience in collaboration with customer support stakeholders (2 years exp).Perform systems engineering with behavior diagrams, stake holder requirements and state machines (2 years exp).Design and develop process and software to reduce the number of system failures in production (6 years exp).10% domestic travel required. 50% telecommuting allowed.
