The Silicon and System Prototyping Lab is looking for a FPGA design engineer to work on the development of FPGA prototypes to advance Intel Lab's research agendas.
In this role, you will be expected to work with members across other research organizations at Intel Labs to: develop custom logic designs, integrate 3rd party Soft and Hard IP, perform verification and implementation of FPGA based systems.
Collaborate in system integration (HW, SW, Collateral, Scripting, Debug) tasks in pre-silicon and post-silicon stages of Silicon and FPGA based proof of concept prototypes.
**Qualifications****Minimum Qualifications**:- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineer or other related discipline- 1+ years of experience of RTL design using verilog or system verilog HDL languages.- 1+ year of experience with FPGA design tools suchs as Quartus, Vivado or Synplify.- 1+ year of experience with verilog or system verilog testbenches and using simulation tools (VCS, Questa/Modelsim or others)- Advanced English verbal and written communication**Preferred Qualifications**:- PhD or Master degree in Electrical Engineering- Experience programming firmware of software for embedded processors (ARM, x86, NIOS, etc.

**Work Model for this Role**This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
