.The Fraud Ops Sr Analyst is a senior level position responsible for contributing to the development of fraud management policies, processes, and procedures to minimize the impact of fraud in coordination with the Operations - Services team. The overall objective of this role is to manage fraud losses by ensuring analysts make appropriate decisions using risk/reward balance methodology.Responsibilities:Solve complex fraud prevention and loss control issues with significant cross-departmental and departmental impact.Recommend and implement new work procedures and address and resolve exceptional/unusual issues.Partner with the operation team(s) and other departments within fraud prevention and loss control.Contribute to the development of new techniques and processes for the area or function.Serve as an expert in fraud prevention and loss control, overseeing a segment of the workforce.Evaluate moderately complex and varied issues with substantial potential impact.Assume informal/formal leadership role within teams, and coach and train new recruits.Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct, and business practices, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency.Qualifications:5-8 years of experience in a related role.Intermediate to senior level experience in a similar position preferred.Demonstrated experience in application and development of advanced statistical models.Proven experience in the Investigation and Fraud claims process.Experience in trend analysis and alerts in early fraud detection.Processes card transaction authorization and compensation.Proficient in Microsoft Office and Access.Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.Education:Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience.------------------------------------------------------Job Family Group: Operations - Services------------------------------------------------------Job Family: Fraud Operations------------------------------------------------------Time Type: Full time------------------------------------------------------Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.Qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to their race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.Citigroup Inc. and its subsidiaries ("Citi") invite all qualified interested applicants to apply for career opportunities.
