English at 90% is required.- Fluent in Spanish and English (written and verbal).- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Freight Broker.- Strong knowledge of the transportation industry ranging from import, export, cross border, port terminals, and or supply chain.- Knowledge of United States Transportation regulations, compliance, geography, and markets.- Effective negotiation and communication skills, ability to multitask, and a strong sense of urgency.- Experience in transportation sales and account management.- Effectively manage customer and carrier relationships.- Proficient with computers including using transportation management software for dispatching and tracking shipments.- Proficient with but not limited to: Outlook, Teams, Excel.- Ability to work in a fast-paced and pressured environment.- Source and secure new transportation lanes, carriers, and customers for freight transportation.- Understand market conditions and analyze information to make timely and effective decisions.- Use effective negotiation and sales strategies in discussing pricing and selling services with the customer.- Negotiate rates and terms with carriers aligned with pre-determined company rate tables.- Dispatch drivers for U.S.
