**Position Duties**:
- Experience and aptitude to work with Rest API's and a CICD framework to edit existing and create new complex API's using Springboot
- Create high performing complex SQL queries
- Develop, Test, & Deploy API's in the Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Be a part of a Ford product team and collaborate with a Product Owner, Product Manager, Anchor, and software engineers
- Work with Business teams to understand requirements for PDO Backlog features and deliver ETL solutions with high business value using Agile
- Participate in product team ceremonies such as Standups, Iteration Planning, Retrospectives, and Release Planning
**Primary Skills Required**:
- Experience with Java Angular
- Experience developing java Rest API's using Springboot
- Experience with Cloud Technologies (GCP)
- Experience with key development and deployment tools (ex.
GitHub, & Jenkins)
- SQL/database experience involving multiple, complex queries
- Team oriented with strong interpersonal skills and able to work as part of a product team
- Strong written/oral communication skills
- Strong drive for results and ability to work independently
- Demonstrated commitment to quality and project timing
- Experience in creating and executing detailed test plans
- Strong Agile Project management capabilities
- Proficient in using Rally (or similar Agile Project Management tool) to help drive a metrics driven approach for IT team
- Ability to work independently and take initiative when solving unexpected problems Ability to deliver under pressure
**Primary Skills Preferred**:
- Business/Systems knowledge with respect to Marketing Sales and especially Dealer Systems is a plus,
- Experience with Security and Code Quality Tools (i.e.
42 Crunch, Checkmarx, CyCode, etc)
- Experience in extract, transform and load (ETL) development with Oracle
- Mainframe experience managing large and complex mainframe/cobol jobs with heavy ETL to manipulate data and create downstream extracts
- Ability to bring technical experience together with business knowledge
- Prior experience working with major programs/products involving multiple stakeholders or multiple regions
