Hunt About the company About Hunt At Hunt we believe the future of fashion & style commerce is increasingly visual. Founded in 2024, we build experiences for highly engaged and passionate communities, all with the aim of maximizing inspiration and discoverability. We achieve this by building custom state-of-the-art computer vision models that extract nuanced information from images, powering hybrid search (text and vector), visual search and embedding-based recommendations.
Role You'll be joining Hunt in its infancy. As an early team member you will have a formative impact on the product, user experience and business.
Your focus will be on web app and backend. From data modeling, to implementing APIs, to bringing beautiful designs to life, you'll help us build a flawless experience that delights our users and partners alike.

Tools of the trade We're building a modern front- and back-end application and our tools reflect our ambition. They include:
React / Next.js / NestJS TypeScript / JavaScript Node.js Snowplow Analytics GraphQL / Apollo PostgreSQL / DynamoDB / Redis ElasticSearch AWS / AWS Lambda / Serverless Framework Docker Experience You are a full-stack developer with at least 4-5 years of experience. You prefer TypeScript over JavaScript. You get annoyed by messy code, but you are also eager to ship code that delights our community. Experience with SQL (PostgreSQL) and ElasticSearch is a great plus. Experience with GraphQL and Apollo would be great. Experience with automated testing is a great plus. You are fluent in English.
