Position Summary: The Sourcing Manager is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies to acquire high-quality materials, products, or services at optimal costs. This role focuses on supplier selection, negotiation, and relationship management to ensure supply chain efficiency and support business goals. The Sourcing Manager collaborates closely with others departments to enhance the overall sourcing process.
Key Responsibilities: Design and implement strategic sourcing plans that align with business objectives, cost goals, and quality standards.Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, trends, and innovations in the industry.Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on criteria such as quality, cost, delivery capabilities, and sustainability practices.Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, conducting regular performance reviews to ensure they meet the company's expectations.Negotiate favorable terms, prices, and contracts with suppliers to maximize cost savings while ensuring quality.Draft, review, and manage supplier contracts, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.Analyze sourcing costs and trends, implementing cost-reduction initiatives without compromising quality.Develop and monitor budgets, reporting on cost savings, variances, and potential risks.Identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain, ensuring continuity of supply for critical components or services.Establish contingency plans to address supply disruptions and maintain operational stability.Partner with operations, projects, sales and engineering teams to align sourcing strategies with production needs and quality standards.Support product development by sourcing materials that meet technical specifications and project timelines.Continuously assess and improve sourcing processes to enhance efficiency, transparency, and cost-effectiveness.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.5+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, with a proven track record in supplier negotiation and cost reduction.Strong knowledge of sourcing processes, supplier management, and contract negotiation.Proficiency in ERP and sourcing software.Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects.Valid visa to travel US.Key Skills: Strong negotiation and analytical skills.Ability to analyze market trends and drive strategic sourcing initiatives.Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.Knowledge of risk management and quality assurance practices.
