Barry Callebaut seeks diverse and passionate people who thrive in a dynamic environment, focused on continuous learning, living BC's Values and of course loving chocolate.The Project Engineer, E&A, supports the cluster engineering team by providing full life-cycle support of automation and electrical while also supporting cyber security and MES needs.Key responsibilities include:Together with and based on the input of internal customers and end-users, you analyse the project and work out the proposals in order to arrive at a concrete definition and budget of the project. You are managing the E&A scope from A to Z, supporting the general project manager. The projects in scope are capacity investments, revamps or energy projects.Accountability for complete E&A scope execution including team leadership, control panel engineering, SCADA design, PLC and HMI programming, and site start-up support of integrated systems.Manage project resources (GBS engineers and external engineering companies), including people, time, and budgets to successfully achieve project goals.Manage the automation and controls systems design, specification, programming, simulation and testing, and start-up.Coordinate programming, configuring, testing, and commissioning PLC and HMI based control systems.Give guidance on maintenance of programs for PLCs and PCs coordinating with Process Engineers, Project Engineers, Design Engineers, Information Technology staff, and Production and Maintenance personnel.Depending on the size of the project, you perform the basic engineering yourself or coordinate with external Engineering partners
