.**EY-GDS- DnA Consulting - Data Architect****The opportunity**We are looking for **Senior Data Architect with expertise in building and managing a company's enterprise data architecture**. Also, in charge of develop, optimize, and oversee a company's conceptual and logical data systems; to join our GDS Mexico team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a leading firm whilst being instrumental in the growth of a new service offering.**Your key responsibilities**- Design and implement effective data solutions and architectures- Conceptual, Logical and Physical Data Modeling- Assess database implementation procedures to ensure they comply with internal and external regulations.- Install and organize information systems to guarantee company functionality.- Prepare accurate database design and architecture reports for management and executive teams.- Oversee the migration of data from legacy systems to new solutions.- Monitor the system performance by performing regular tests, troubleshooting, and integrating new features.- Recommend solutions to improve new and existing database systems.- Educate staff members through training and individual support.- Offer support by responding to system problems in a timely manner.**Skills and attributes for success**- Minimum of 7 years of experience with large-scale data and analytics solutions- Experience in turning business use cases and requirements into technical solutions- Experience on Data warehousing / Bigdata/ Hadoop / MPP databases (Teradata, Snowflake) / RDBMS.- Deep expertise in building data management solutions (Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Security).- Advanced knowledge on SQL DB, NOSQL DB, MPP DB- Knowledge of Azure Data & Analytics PaaS Services: Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, Azure IoT, Azure HDInsight + Spark, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Databricks, Azure Stream Analytics and Azure SQL DB- Knowledge of Master Data Management (MDM) and Data Quality tools- Hands on experience on Dev Ops tools, Cloud Experience, Microservices - API.- Database and cloud computing design, architectures, and data lakes.- Hadoop technologies like Pig, Hive and MapReduce.- Operating systems like Unix, Linux, and Windows.- Experience on stakeholders' management.- Experience working with private and sensitive personal information.- Ability to complete milestones and work toward multiple deadlines simultaneously.- Excellent multitasking skills and task management strategies.- Confident in decision making and the ability to explain processes or choices as needed**To qualify for the role, you must have**- Bachelor's in technology or engineering or similar.- Experience working with enterprise's data architectures.**Ideally, you'll also have**- Familiarity with agile methodologies.- Familiarity with software such as Jira or ADO
