**Essential responsibilities**
- Support, with guidance, the solution of problems of limited scope and complexity for the externals components, assemblies and/or systems, fleet management, and meet business standards and program / product requirements
- Document technical data generated to substantiate the assigned components, assemblies and/or systems consistent with engineering policies and procedures
- Participate in technical and program reviews
- Provide timely communication on significant issues to key stakeholders
- Solve problems of limited scope and complexity
- Use Lean tools to improve assigned project
- Support the team on the development of Lean tools
- Work within the guidelines of applicable GE Policies and Procedures, Engineering Standards, Design Customer Operating Procedures, Specifications, Government and Commercial Standards, and special security requirements
- Concurrently work on multiple tasks, monitoring progress and quality, and ensuring schedule requirements are met
- Self-check of work
**Qualifications/Requirements**
- Engineering student (Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial, or similar)
- College graduation not sooner than June 2024
- Effective written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish
- English skills: must be able to maintain a simple conversation in English.
- Presentation skills: ability to communicate with Senior Leadership.
- Demonstrated ability in managing own projects
- Effective problem identification and solution skills
- Proven analytical and organizational abilities
- Experience with visual management tools is a plus
- Full-time job: 40hours per week
- In-person work is required at GEIQ offices in Queretaro, Mex.
