**Main Responsabilities**
- Perform and collaborate in the accounting closing process carrying out specific tasks on a timely manner ensuring the financial integrity of the Financial Statements.
- Execute project accounting, controlling revenue, cost, work in progress, deferred revenue and unbilled.
- Execute periodic financial activities including journal entry preparation and account reconciliations including but not limited:
- Banks, Accounts Receivable, Other current and non-current assets, Fixed Assets, Intangibles, Accounts Payables, Unvouchered Payables, Payroll, Accruals, Pension, Intercompany and Equity
- Prepare any kind of required accruals.
- Ownership of the balance sheet control reconciliations including investigation of reconciling items to clear in a timely manner. Work towards resolution of open items partnering with other departments.
- Researches and investigates accounting issues as required.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement variance analysis.
- Provide financial reports to finance management (e.g., account analysis, balance sheet and income statement flux analysis, reconciliations, ad hoc analysis, etc.).
- Maintain compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and internal CP&P.
- Support internal and external audit processes collaborating with the supervision of the area to meet deliverables and address explanations.
- Identify potential areas for process improvements and highlight to Supervisors and Continuous Improvement Team towards standardization and optimization of processes.
**Minimum Job Qualifications**
- 5+ years of experience in a mixed of audit and accounting. Experience in Manufacturing is preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of US GAAP.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Confidence in challenging the status quo; always on the lookout for continuous improvement opportunities.
- The ability to go fast; the desire to help others go faster.
- Outstanding presentation, reporting and communication skills.
- Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) it's a must.
