Flo Networks is a leading provider of telecommunications services between the United States and Mexico. We provide connectivity and managed services to Fortune 1000 companies, and to telecommunications and cable companies through a fiber optic network that extends for 10,000 km between both countries.
We are looking for a **General Accountant** to join our team in **Ciudad Juarez, Mexico**.
**The role**:
The **General Accountant** is responsible for preparing reports and financial statements that reflect income, profits and other financial results. Manages our accounting practices throughout the organization ensuring that financial and operating results reflect the condition of the business, as well as providing reliable information necessary for the control of the operations.
**Responsibilities**:
Treasury
- Responsible for the accounting registry of transfers between accounts, sale/purchase of dollars, payroll, and review of bank reconciliations.
- Monitors and follows up with the process of opening accounts and/or procedures with the financial institutions.
Payroll
- Makes the reconciliation of company loans to employees, monitoring of payroll deductions, recognition of interest earned on loans granted by the company.
- Performs the provision of salaries and tracking of payments.
- Performs the provision of the savings fund, Christmas bonus, holiday/vacation premium, and savings account.
General
- Performs accounting depreciation calculations and monthly reconciliation.
- Keeps control of payments made in advance as well as their amortizations.
- Supervises the operations in collaboration with the related parties and determines intercompany charges.
- Reconciles loans and recognizes the interests paid.
- Follows up and monitors the actuarial study and accounting records according to NIF D-3.
- Applies the requirements for lease accounting according to NIF D-5.
- Monthly Revaluation Process.
- Participates in the review of the end of the audit report.
- Generates the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
- Updates the financial information of the different organizations that provide services to the operation.
- Responsible for the monthly reconciliation of accounts included in the Financial Statement.
- Supports miscellaneous matters related to subsidiaries.
**Requirements**:
- Degree in Public Accounting.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar or equivalent position in financial auditing.
- Bilingual English and Spanish.
- Manage Office 365 and Google Workspace
- Experience with ERP systems or accounting systems (Edwards, Netsuite, Contpac, etc).
- Management of banking systems.
