JOB SUMMARY:
Coordinate and execute the general accounting and financial processes of the company and provide support/oversight to adopt best practices in accounting methods.
Responsible for accounting tasks such as: booking journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations. Perform the financial transactions and post them to the general ledger, assist in preparing financial statements in accordance with US GAAP, provide analysis of information upon request from actual postings in GL.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITES:
- Posts daily journal entries in JDE based on daily accounting activity.
- Prepares monthly reconciliations and assists in reporting of financial data in line with company policies and procedures and other applicable compliance regulatory laws.
- Performs monthly closing activities related to GL and FA JDE module maintenance.
- Conducts basic variance analysis on actuals.
- Prepares monthly reconciliation of GL accounts.
- Posts MX Bank transactions.
- Upload and download OneStream report for financial closing process.
- Prepares monthly, quarterly, and yearly explanations for MFR variances related to accounts assigned.
- Provides quarterly and yearly payroll information to support forecast and budget processing.
- Prepares at month end, quarter and year end, SOX controls and internal/external audit requirements.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor degree in Finance and/ or Accounting.
EXPERIENCE:
- 5+ years of experience in GL or Accounting area.
KNOWLEDGE:
- Intermediate English.
- Strong experience of GL and FA related activities.
