**General Accounting Analyst (Temporal)**:
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist in the monthly consolidation and reporting process, record journal entries.
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations for assigned accounts, identifying, and resolving any differences within the close period.
- Reconciliations must be organized, accurate, and complete.
- Fulfill all responsibilities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and other assigned tasks, in a timely manner to comply with the close calendar, checklists, and other due dates as assigned.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for the Fixed Asset, General Ledger, and Cash Management.
- Assist with annual local statutory and consolidated audits as well as internal audit and requests.
- Maintains and analyzes the ledger accounts and prepares internal financial reporting of revenue, sales and tax, and regulatory statutory financial reports.
- Analyze and communicate trends, issues, and problems to supervisor on a timely basis.
- Respond promptly and tactfully to employee and other external customer inquiries.
- Collaborate with various internal business functions such as AR/AP/Treasury and others.
- Build close relationship with customers to drive payment behavior.
- Plans to own work scope to keep operational excellence at target.
- Accuracy in all inputs.
- Highlight risks on customer account and proactively have an action plan to mitigate the risk.
- Manages balance between high volume items and critical priorities according to financial impacts.
- Proactive on issue resolution by generating tickets and trigger escalations on time.
- Document and update standard operating procedures and own process workflows.
- Special projects and ad hoc reporting as assigned.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree preferred or technician Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.
- Accounting experience is a must.
- 2 years of experience of RTR Accounting on Shared Services Centers
- Understand overall Logistic Industry, AR/AP & OTC process, and upstream and downstream process impacts.
- Strong MS Office Suite skills, including Excel Pivot Tables and Formulas (V-lookup, etc.).
- ORACLE, SAP, or other enterprise system experience may be necessary.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Intermediary Verbal and Written Communication Skills in English (Portuguese is a plus).
- Participation in improvement and technology implementation projects.
- Positive attitude and flexible, especially in the period of month/quarter/year-end closing.
