General Accounting Specialist, Senior

As a** General Accounting Specialist Senior** you will be a member of the General Ledger department reporting to the USCA General Ledger Supervisor.
The core function of this role provides multiple Finance support.
This is important to ensuring that PPG assets and financial records are protected by overseeing Trial Balances data and account Analysis guaranteeing that accounting records are posted on time and correctly.
This Job is located in Queretaro #LI-Hybrid

**Responsibilities**
- Communication with internal clients and departments (payables, treasury, general ledger, fixed assets) and other operating areas in the business.
- Address minimum general ledger issues/concerns related to existing/new Finance with supervisor´s guidance.
- Answer general accounting questions related to transactions being posted and account reconciliation procedures.
- Support business process improvement and transitions.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor degree in accounting, finance or business administration.
- 3.5+ years' experience in accounting and finance or related field.
- Advanced English skills (B1+/B2).
- Experience with MS Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets), and ERPs: Oracle, SAP, and QAD.
- Presentation and data analysis skills.
