General Accounting Team Leader

Description Mission Statement:Lead a functional work team within General Accounting (GA) in CSS Finance focused on the complete, accurate, and timely completion of accounting transactions. Ensure compliance with internal guidelines and procedures.Main Accountabilities:Lead, motivate and develop Financial Reporting TeamPeople manager, including staffing & selection, integration, facilitating technical/functional training, measuring individual and team performance, providing feedback, counseling and coaching as neededCollaborate closely with GA Global Process Owner project team, working together on GA Process Excellence, Quality and Efficiency improvementEnsuring compliance with Group and Statutory standards, regulations and guidelines local GAAP and IFRS accounting policiesDimensions:Direct: > 9Basic Qualifications (Mandatory):Bachelor's degree required, preferably in accounting or other business discipline. Master's degree a plus6+ years GA experience in a multi-state, multiple legal entity environment preferred. Experience in Financial Accounting is a strong plusThorough understanding of internal controls and general accounting processAbility to interact appropriately and effectively with internal customers and external partners (composure, conflict management, customer focus, negotiating)Strong knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office.Strong communication skills with fluency in English.Working experience in BPO/ CSS environment#J-18808-Ljbffr
