**Job Description**:

- Review, implement, enrich, and communicate finance master data governance requests for new or changed data elements for the Local Ledger
- Work with business partners on data-related technical issues and develop requirements to support their data infrastructure needs
- Streamline and document aspects of the data governance process to govern data elements within the Local and Global Ledger
- Responsible in maintenance and timely management of posting periods (FI, CO and MM), acting as gatekeepers at the tail end of month end closing activities, and timely reporting of closed periods to the Global Ledger Team (via FCLOCO completion)
- Maintain the daily/weekly/monthly SAP FX rates in local systems
- Identify and execute internal controls, SOX compliance and financial procedures
- Support internal/external auditors requests, ensuring open matters are resolved timely
- Responsible in ARM data maintenance and monthly status reporting
- Partner with Finance to determine accounting implications of transactions and perform analytical analyses to utilize when making all material business decisions.
- Ability to connect the data from the source to Global Ledger data enrichment to how the enriched Global Ledger data is consumed by our data users
- Investigate production issues and work with IT and business to make changes in the system and/or business processes to resolve such issues
- Identify and drive process improvements in simplifying and automating business processes by providing SAP solutions.
- Perform UAT testing for enhancements and process changes
- Build relationships with technology and business management, internal clients and external stakeholders
- Support and guide the business user on SAP knowledge sharing, systems problem resolution and process enhancements by providing SAP solutions
- Assist supervisor/manager in managing multiple efforts simultaneously across a broad range of functions, business, and organizational units
- Complete all duties independently for daily/month/quarter/year end

**Qualifications, Skills and Technical Knowledge Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting/finance industry
- Intermediate understanding of US GAAP, IFRS, and SOX /Internal Control Requirements
- Public accounting and audit experience preferred
- Regional and/or global experience preferred
- Knowledge of corporate finance principles including ability to perform balance sheet analysis, net income statement analysis, cash flow statement analysis, knowledge of debt structures, etc.
- Can provide accurate, timely and reliable reporting and controls
- Structured presentations in straightforward, efficient manner
- Working knowledge of SAP, Hyperion/Smart View
- Excellent analytical and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of in situations where only limited standardization exists
